Never really pissed but more of an eye roll/mild mannered teasing. Now she has a 2021 Highlander. Guess where she parks?

Installed a plow. Got it just in time for the big storm here in NH. I didn't get as much snow as other towns but got just over a foot. Did really well. 20201213_100523.jpg 20201213_100515.jpg

I installed some new Lund tubular running boards on my 2020 when I first got it in the spring. I don't dislike them and they come in handy when I'm strapping my kayak to my roof or mounting my bike on my rack. Only down side is they are slippery and I was thinking about re-doing the finish on them next spring after our harsh Canadian winter! I was thinking about bed liner spray or roll on type stuff. Any suggestions or ideas, similar experiences?

That Saris rack is pretty crappy. Have had several friends who hate them. The 1Up quality is incomparable. Super easy to load and unload, crazy stable, easy to take on/off. Sounds like adding a swing out would really help your needs too.
For me, taking the bikes is a given. So wifey simply needs an easy to use solution. The 1Up is her favorite.
Check out this page for some options for your truck, might help make up your mind for what you need. Also, make sure you come visit the TW MTB thread!

I’ve had good luck with spray-on box liner. I didn’t use it in that context, but the stuff I bought from Canadian Tire had a softer, more tacky finish when it dried.

Alternatively, some of that grip tape applied in the right areas is hard to beat.

    Truck looks great!

For me, being handicapped with foot issues, these Lunds have been a great help. The biggest benefit to me is the door ding prevention. 4 years 11.5 months and zero dings. I have a few minor spots on the Lunds that show what would certainly would have been dings in the paint.

Thanks, I have looked at options. I have tried a roof rack, but it was just too ungainly to work with, not to mention the wind noise. The swing out is a good idea for a lot of applications, but I already have issues with exit clearance, and moved to a high clearance bumper to address it, bringing the hitch rack farther our again will defeat the purpose of the high clearance bumper. I am going to probably suck it up and go with the 1Up, and start with the single first, then do an add on later to spread the cost out. I'm looking at the Quick Rack or the Super Duty, what would be your recommendation now that you have used your's fo awhile?

Ran those wheels on my FJ. They look great on your truck. Is the offset the same as stock 4Runner?

Cheap, simple, and functional, can't really go wrong.
