that’s a Cub Cadet that rusted out in 3 years. I made a new lower housing piece.
    It’s now my boys backup.

Look like new chute, skids, there's probably more stuff I can't see.

Nice snowblower work bench. I like the ramps.

What's wrong with Cub Cadet blowers?

the two I have repaired rusted out in a very short period of time And not around any salt.
The work bench has been replaced with the one I made. Slightly bigger. Ramps are for loading in a truck.
If they run they go on the bench.

Afternoon stockers. We did a little wrenchin' on my buddy's RX-7 today. Replaced the 20 year old APEXi exhaust with a much quieter Tanade unit. Nice peice...T304 stainless steel. Still might need a resonated mid pipe to bring the level down a bit more

Do you know if the Cub Cadet lawnmower rust as easy as the snowblower?

What if the snowblower doesn't run? The snowblower isn't light. My back knows this first hand experience.

Slowly but surely we are. We're learning.....well mostly him at tuning it. Did a couple of remote sessions that have helped. We've got it up to 12 lbs of boost, with perfect drivabilty. Great power. If the tires are cold, they'll snap loose in 3rd.

He's waiting to get the exhaust fully sorted before tuning anymore. His goal is 15 lbs. Won't be a problem on his setup

Are you going to dyno the RX-7 for horsepower gains with the new exhaust?

no idea on other rust issues.
I work on the ground if it doesn’t run.
The bench is for more involved things.

    Like overhauling motors.

Since you fix thing to sell or keep. Is it worth doing a engine overhaul? With parts your labor, it's not going to be cheap.

    General question.

Is the non Clorinated CRC brake cleaner is in the green can and the Chorinated is in the red can?

    I have the red can.

See that's what I thought, but it looks like I'm wrong. We get the chlorinated at work and I absolutely detest it!

No. Shouldn't be any power gain. It was mainly replaced because the old one was just too damn loud. On the stock setup it was fine. But with the new engine and single turbo, along with the huge down pipe, it's just moving huge volumes of exhaust. Too much pressure for it to be quiet. And with the silencer out, it will gut your ears.

He'll pop sound at auto-x events. That will get ya a DQ. Want to avoid that.

This set up has been consistently dyno'd at 450 hp and about 325 lbs ft of torque. He may try to dyno it eventually.
