I didn't even have to wait for you to call out on the radio quarter tank, when I was at half...I already knew :burp:

That Vegas gas station though, sketch as fuck

I remember it was the only placed with a locked bathroom and bulletproof glass where the cashier stood.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    I asked a question.

The funny thing is, if you had a factory locker it would most likely say you have a locker on your VIN read out. And it doesn't.

You do realize a locker was available as a dealer installed option, right? And there were, in fact, quite a few dealer installed lockers... that look factory, because they used factory parts. (which BTW this is the reason why the entire premise that ALL lockers have 4.10 diffs is wrong... because, example, the only way to get a 4cyl, manual, with locker was dealer installed... and that combination would NOT be 4.10)

The point I was trying to make was NOT that all TRDs came with 265s (I thought they might have, but wasn't totally sure)... the point I was making is that nonTRD did not come with 265s (other than dealer installed). Because the point was made earlier, by someone else, that 265 was standard on 6 lug... which is not the case.

It’s not the tires themselves. Air pressure, ambient temperature, driving style, altitude. The lift isn’t helping, any other added weight also isn’t helping. 8 seems low. 12-15 is typical in my experience.

Just so I understanding what you are saying...

You could get an SR5 without TRD, but could not get TRD without having SR5. (that would also be my understanding)

But... you could get a diff lock without TRD, as a dealer installed (actually, more correctly called dealer added) option. The locker is not the overriding indicator a truck is a TRD. Like as has been shown here, it was available as an independent option. Also... the locker has been available since 1995/1996... TRD didn't show up till 1998.

Currently running 285/65/16 Falken Wildpeak Mts with the added weight of armor and camping gear, I’m getting 1 smile per gallon(mine)

Does OP have an automatic paired with the V6? If so yeah kiss those 300+ mile tanks goodbye, I can hardly get 300 per fillup with 2.7L and MT

Plenty of items are dealer installed; dealer simply has to submit that said vin number has said sales code added to the vehicle since it was done after it left the assembly line.

Probably not something commonly done, most likely due to cost, but they have been reported as being out there.

Give me ONE truck that has a locker from the factory, I call bull

Any dealer can add anything (imo thats different from factory option, the dealer is no different from a stereo place that adds shit)
