I don't think you will be disappointed with these. If you break this, you have other issues.

Gotta be kidding me. My interior door handles little plastic clip that connects to the bar just broke off. That’s a first, but I’ve had to take my damn door apart so many times it looks like the plastic finally gave way on the inside.

Definitely ripped a few door handles off when the doors are frozen shut. Good way to start a Monday morning that's for sure.

Is it possible that your key has worn down? It happened to me.

I just order both sides. We'll see how they work.

Oh yeah the key is most likely worn down. But it works fine on the driver door still. Even when I am sitting in the truck, it is hard to physically pull up the unlock tab with my fingers. It requires more effort than it should, and more than it used to. So when unlocking from the outside with the key, I have to turn the key kind of hard to get it to unlock, which has caused the key to twist before. I sprayed some lube (can't remember what I used) directly into the key hole, and in a couple other locations that I thought would help. It seemed to help somewhat, but still not as smooth as it used to be.

Both mine lasted 23 years, don't consider that fragile.

It seems a thread like this pops up every few days now. I think the life of most handles is about 15-16 years. I replaced mine recently and so far, so good.

I’ve been looking everywhere for the passenger side one. Can’t seem to find it in stock anywhere... I’d like to buy both drive/pass to get it over with once and for all

That's what I did. I just didn't have time on my vacation to get it done.

Huh...mine broke a while ago. I have a feeling the cheaper aftermarket ones I replaced them with won't last all that long.

These are looking pretty good. Thanks for sharing.
