Heard a lot of people call in to a local radio station to complain about their employers not giving them a Holiday Bonus...Just wondering how many people still get Holiday/Christmas Bonuses from their employers.

It's been a few years but they did give me free product this year to help with the building of our house so I'm fine with it.

Unemployed, but the state sent me a check today for $75.00. Some kind of internal audit showed that I have been underpayed by small change each week. I'll take it!

We get $500 every year....a small gift (This year was a 2D Mag Light)....and free dinner/drinks at a Christmas party...and you get to spin a wheel to win $20-$100. Not a bad deal for a company with 102 employees.

My work makes so much money it's crazy, but none of it makes it's way to the employees in the form of a bonus.

Stop matching our 401 k too... However, we just layed off 465 people and I was not impacted, so I guess I cant complain.

We used to get a 1/2 paycheck as a bonus, but this year and the last two we haven't. The first non-bonus year, I got a $60.00 digital photo frame, the second year I got a GPS that gets used for the company while I'm driving around in my personal truck doing company service work, can't wait to see what I get this year. Mind you we were told that there was no money for raises nor bonuses but yet, the bosses son is turning 17 in February and the boss is looking around at 5 Series BMW's for himself so he can give his son his 2008 Cadillac STS. Starting to feel like Clark Griswald being enrolled in the jelly of the month club.

Currently have applications out to several companies in NJ.

I'm an hourly employee who works in a factory - so NO, we don't get holiday bonuses.

Our bonuses are based on performance. They come up with these mathmatician formulas to figure out bonuses that ultimately have to do with our performances. They sugar coat it and call it something different every year. Each quarter they give us updates and we usually 'make quota' each quarter and they hold onto that money (to make interest for themselves). In most cases, by the time the end of the year rolls around....anything we 'made quota' on gets disolved into something else (poor performance) and we don't see any of it.

But honestly? I never expect a dime.....My husband does very well with bonuses.

Each year (usually) my employer gives QWL increase - which is basically an increase via % to your hourly rate for the cost of living. It might be 2% each year (pending the economy/etc).
