Good call on the fuel efficient DD. i thought about keeping my truck and getting a prius or something as a daddy mobile/fuel sipper for the work commute, but I already have a second car and did not want three (plus my wife's, plus my motorcycle) - just too much junk to take care of.

thank you! good to know more people are in the same boat as me. are you enjoying the GX compared to the taco?

I love it, it’s a little cramped but we make do. Can’t wait for the 3 year old to be in a front facing seat. The rear facing car seats are so freaking big.

Lol I have to hoist my daughter up in her seat then hop up in the GX to get her buckled up. Doesn’t really help I have a 3” lift and have her sitting center of the seat for safety.

I think you'd be fine turning her around. I went front facing with Savannah when she was just shy of 2yo.

She is still under 30lbs and it’s much safer to be rear facing.

Well to me anyways. Techstream is whatever the current version is out there, I don't remember which honestly but it was the most current as of July of this year.

ARB actually crash tests, so there’s that. Ironman is just a made in China copy.

Can you even get the ARB in the states? IIRC it's not a direct fit either...BRB gotta go look at more pics to see how much I actually hate them...

Yeah, any ARB dealer can get them. It’s for the Prado so it requires fender trimming and trimming a bit off the bumper so the hood clears.

Here is what I don't like...looks like the winch solenoid box has to sit exposed, unless you relocate it and the headlight gap...but I'm seeing some people don't have the gap, in which case I don't mind it that much. The solenoid box doesn't bother me, I have crimpers and perfectly capable of making my own extended wires.
