    Every enduro I've done has been pretty different in all but format and general form. That said, riding a bunch does help, but interval training, and follow the leader rides with faster folks both help.

    One thing that has helped me the most is blind riding new stuff as much as I can. Most enduros you end up travelling to mean you might get one, two if you're lucky, chances to pre-ride any given section before the buzzer. The ability to linefind on the clock is a skill I'm nowhere close to mastering.
