tonered Thank you! I'd hate to bother KTJO at a time like this with all she has to do. YIKES! probably would delay someone's order having her check my status/reading my message of it. lol

    You're welcome!

Also, you can do the same at UPS. They will link up most packages coming your way along with email alerts. FedEx has a free account also, but doesn't seem to automatically link up deliveries to the account?

    LoL!

I don't even want to comment on my tracking situation. But, USPS says it will be here today. Our mail usually arrives at about 11a Pacific Time. I've been jackhammering F5 since last Thors Day. I will post up after work or if it arrives after that.

My installation plan will be to use the provided nutclip temporarily, use the handle for show, and figure out the rivnut plus washer or other reinforced mounting device for the lower bracket.

You might even find the clip works ok too and there’s no need to go further. If you do use some reinforcement, let us know what works better. :hattip:

If it is the previously pictured one with less than one full thread, typically used for just the dead weight of trim parts, I can't see being happy with it. If it is the McMaster one with stronger base metal and a fully threaded section, then I might be.

I'm looking forward to that update. It now says:

If it does get dropped then, I will have it in by about 3.30p.

Well if your USPS delivery guy is anything like mine, you'll get a notification that says it was delivered in a parcel locker. You go to check the mail and there's nothing there. Check with your neighbors, nothing. Then 3 days later it magically shows up on your doorstep.

That has certainly happened before, but they have been good lately. Also, I think this box will be bigger than the locker on our mailbox? Please don't hammer to fit! :smash:

I order things a lot and in my experiences, all it really means is that KTJO has printed a shipping label but hasn’t actually dropped off your package with the post office. Whenever it does get picked up or dropped off, it will then show a tracking number.

Sneaky little bait and switch. But, I sort of guessed it based on the time it arrived at the local PO:

Gives me more time to intercept the delivery. :p

Last week I had something get delivered at 8am, but the rest of the mail and another package that was also out for delivery wasn't delivered until after 4pm. It's to keep you guessing.

Just a bunch of wandering Grumans. At times, we will get packages on a different truck than the regular mail.

IDK why, but restomods of postal vehicles have always been on simmer in the back of my mind. The old Jeeps would have been more fun, but . . .
