Alabama thread!

Ill probably get both my tax returns for 2019 and 2020 with both stimulus checks at the same time. Long story short it wouldnt take my return on computer for whatever reason so i had to mail in. Then covid hit and screwed the whole thing up and im still waiting. I did verify with IRS that i will be getting my stimulus checks though.

 

Me no qualify for stimulation

 

Think of it as a poorly ran government savings program with no return on investment...im just trying to life vicariously through you at this point

 

They don’t hesitate to collect, but they drag their feet giving it back. Haha

 

I know the feeling...govt owed me 12k and it took just under 4 months to get paid.

 

0.5% at the banks make it a little easier to swallow unfortunately, but that’s no fun. I had to resort to Robinhood to make any money this year haha

 

I've made more money this year from investments than I have from my regular job. They have not been realized though so its not real money.

 

I put some money I could live without in single stocks late March when it bottomed out. I cashed out my initial investment a month or so ago and left the profits in there to work. So far it’s twice what I put in. I was surprised. I don’t believe clear opportunities happen like that very often and consistent investments pay off more over the long time. Still fun to play haha

I actually didn't buy any haha. Here's most of what I went with initially. Mostly quintessential Americana. Figured if they all shit the bed, so will the rest of us. I added some others later.

That’s hopefully gonna be my next truck mod after I get my house finished in the next couple of weeks. May wanna help in that install to get an idea of the task!

 

I did that with Ford when the auto crash happened that was my most lucrative play money gamble and it paid off big time.

Oh and post up those lights when you get them installed. I'm looking at those for my rig and would love some feedback.
