This is the only thing you said that makes sense, which doesn’t correlate with the trailers = more money for R&D. Sure it COULD give more money towards it, but i mean come on... The rich want to get more rich duh.

Okie dokie. Local community colleges have cheap intro to marketing and business classes if you'd like to learn how these types of products come to be and why they exist.

Don't mind me though. I literally haven't been doing this type of stuff my entire life.

Good for you. Take it to a business forum then where someone will perhaps, give a shit.

English classes are cheap too. 101 and 102 will get you mostly up to date on proper spelling and punctuation.

If you want to attack someone and pick a fight, at the very least try to do it in a way that looks like it's written by an adult. Even if you don't know what you're talking about, it'll lend you a modicum of credibility.

I think those Tacoma fire logs are the SR model. I hear the Pro's have a better burn rating

    I drive a Miata.

I'll bite on that argument. For me personally, it has been an extremely rare for me to find a campsite that necessitates the use of a temporary/portable firepit. They either have a permanent pit already established or there's a burn ban. I have stayed at maybe one place where I could have used it, but even then the landowner was cool enough to say I could have a ground fire if I promised to bury the ashes by morning. Don't need that piece of kit jockeying for space in my camper's cargo cubby with my bass-pro folding rocking chairs, my Yeti portable shower system, my solar powered lawn flamingoes, and my set of novelty hammocks that say "you must be this drunk to ride" and "two's company but three's a good time."

Unfortunately some of the best MTB trailheads that allow camping around here fall under these firepan policies as well as the locations we host offroad races I help support when they aren't under blanket bans.

I will say that when it comes to camping in those areas, I usually resort to "no fire" instead of lugging something like that. Just don't have the space.

I just don't like the thought of packing out my ashes. I have a hard enough time packing out my gray water. :anonymous::anonymous:

this guys right. None of this money is going back into R&D budgets. Toyota doesn’t fix known issues because they don’t need to fix them to remain the best selling midsized pickup. Fixes just cost them more money and reduce profits.

A good example is how toyota R&D learned it’s lesson about rusting frames on 1st gen... I mean 2nd gen... uh 3rd gen Tacomas?

this is speaking from a decade of experience as an R&D engineer. We frequently use the term MVP - minimum viable product to meet specs and get to market within budget. We fully acknowledge it’s not the best thing possible but it’s what the consumer gets.

Everytime I see this trailer or the ones that people have made and I have to wonder why they used a short bed and not a long bed. Seems like for a trailer a long bed would be better to use.

If you're towing it on pavement yes. If you are towing it offroad, no.

I was going to try to find a taco in a salvage yard and convert it into one of these, but then I bought a racecar and realized I dont have the storage for both one of these and a racecar trailer. I like the idea but im positive I wouldnt pay what Toyota is going to want for it. Id buy another Tacoma first and just have my wife follow me in it lol.
