The dude stocking the shelf saw me grab two boxes of .556 didn't say anything. When I came back I grabbed the Sig .357 and 308 and one box of .556 and hauled ass the rest I picked up local

 

So pulling up the cart and asking just fill the cart please wasn't an option?

Guy at Cabelas told me that Bass Pro bought 15 million bucks worth of ammo from Winchester thats why we see so much .556 GT...... They didn't know when it is coming in all they know is that its there when the get in the morning...... ​

Probably won't do anyone any good, but Associated Buyers in Roseburg OR just got a pallet of 500rnd cases of Wolf 300 AAC. Don't know the price, as they were literally transferring from the pallet it was delivered on to a cart to get it through the door.

 

After the last shortage, I stocked up on 22lr because I'm not capable of reloading them. I don't have even a estimate how many. When you hear media say someone was nabbed with x amount of ammo that sounds absurdly high. I cringe... I must be some kind of lunatic for sure. Small fraction on top my safe. I need to put it up in the other closet/locker.

 

And surely in some type of violation for amount powder storededit I never checked ordinance about it bud read somewhere I thought...and then if you unfortunately have a house fire the fire department will just let it burn? I mean if you tell them

 

I’m interested in purchasing a hand gun. But I’m a newb. Is there a good thread on TW where I could ask questions or ask for suggestions? I don’t want to start it up in this thread before asking if there’s a more appropriate thread for this purpose. Thanks.

Try the most common firearms.

Glock 19 is known as the goldilocks of pistols.

A 38 special is a fantastic firearms like a smith and Wesson.

A 380 like a Ruger.

3 different firearms, 3 different calibers. Find a place that'll let you rent and fire a mag and do turns like that to find something that works for you
