That truck use to belong to one of the members over on the TTORA site. He sold it a while back when he got into racing.

nevermind that, wont be seeing my truck anytime soon.
on the way to my grandmothers friday night a girl pulled out in front of me last second. T-boned an expedition doing 50ish mph.
my wife has a fractured pelvis, and we are still waiting on the xray of her shoulder. she goes into surgery tomorrow morning. my daughter is just a little shaken up, has a cut on her lip from the center buckle of her car seat. I am ok, really really sore, but made it with only some cuts on my hands, a sore chest, a sore left arm, and my shoulder hurts a bit. this was actually a 4 car accident. after i got out of the truck and walked around to the back to get my daughter out, a dodge car? rear ended an audi a4? SR 80 between east ft myers and lehigh acres was shut down east bound. The girl i hit, miraculously walked away from the accident. she apparently told the police that she didnt see me.

went by the yard today to retrieve the rest of my personal items. out of curiousity i put the battery cable on and started her up, makes a hell of a noise then shuts off. crank, starts 1500+ rpm then bleh dies. exhaust is hella loud. i hate to say it but i hope they total the truck. will buy another one in a heartbeat. that specific tow yard said they would let me take whatever i wanted off my truck after the insurance settled everything. so that means i would at least get my wheels and tires, and the lift.

sorry to say it but its most likely totaled :(...i have pretty much an identical truck to yours and it unfortunatly was crashed too, if your airbags deploy its unsafe to put the car back on the road....my 2008 tacoma was taken by a 14 year old kid and he hit a tree and did $22,000 in damage it needed a whole new frame and they wouldnt total it but they said if the airbags deployed it would be totaled because they said its unsafe to drive if the airbags have ever deployed because they might deploy again randomly

Airbag systems are designed to be replaced, im an automotive technician. If the repairs to the vehicle are done properly, such as at a toyota body shop and nobody tries to cut corners then the airbag system will be just fine. I think/hope mine is totalled due to the amount of damage that has occured.

I can fix that. My dad's a TV Repairman and he's got a big set of tools.

Seriously though, glad you're all alive and hopefully your wife will come through OK.

She's done. She will be at fault. The damage is on her door. She didn't even look. If you would have hit the back but you didn't. She stole your room. Man is there a lot of bad drivers out there. You must have been right in her blind spot and she never shoulder checked.

this isnt a parting out thread, i meant that the tow yard would have let me take stuff i wanted off for the next one. not part the thing out.

Wow that looks like a hell of an accident, get what you can off the truck, hell make a few bucks if you can. Most importantly glad everyone is o.k. Could have been worse. That goes to show the Toyota quality 50 mph T-bone is no joke.
