    Make sure the right side groove locks in. This was part of my design and how it differs from replicas on the market. That way you are not relying on 1 point of contact for securing it(the bolt)

    I have it on my Subaru for almost 5 years with no check engine light and no other evap system codes of any kind. It unscrews like a regular fuel cap if you need to fill up with a jerrycan. I don't use it on the Taco though, because Toyota was too cheap to put a lock on the fuel door, so I need a locking fuel cap there.
