I did for a while, sold and rebought hundreds of shares, no losses but a little work. I’m doing mock covered calls for a while to try to find a sweet spot.

I’ll take penny stock suggestions. I know you’re all my rivals, but I don’t even know of a penny stock. I might just buy $600 worth of one and let it ride.

Aerotyne. You call the main line and their mom Dorothy answers and she's so sweet :)

Imagine if this $600 turns into, $10k or something? Worst case will be to lose the $600. I like this, makes me try new things.

Oh, I'm fully prepared to find some recently underlooked IPO and buy way, way OTM options and turn my $600 into retirement money :D

I don’t know options well enough to use for this. I’d be afraid I’d buy something and the be on the hook for a million dollars worth of shares. Then I’d have to flee to Costa Rica and all that.

No, worst case is you turn it into 10k, get addicted to the returns, and then blow 20k the rest of the year chasing speculative penny stocks and playing options

Getting the check is not a requirement. If you want to play, you're still welcome to play. Just have to buy in at $600. I'm likely not getting this check either.

Funny you mention retirement. I already have a Trad IRA. I think I'll open a ROTH with the $600. It will be a one time deposit. Then that account becomes my 2nd play account. I'll still be able to stuff another $5400 into my real IRA so tax implications will be minimal. So, yeah, I'm in.
