What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It sounds like it's only certain environments (hot) that cause issues. I live in the Mojave, so I'm concerned.

 

Yeah just did the same thing, they should have included them to begin with, I just received mine last week.

 

just installed the oem power tailgate lock, so easy I forgot to even take a pic, now there’s nothing to see.

 

I sent them a very Karen-esque email.
I could care less about the $5 it’s just the principal... You screw up fine just own it don’t ask for more of peoples money just do it right the first time or make it right for free.

Take meso for example, literally anything goes wrong and he will replace it no questions asked (other than your order number) no extra charge etc. And that’s why I have no problem going back and spending waaay too much money on every mod he comes out with. I won’t be doing business with mountain hatch again. Btw their stuff scratches WAY to easily for anyone in the market.. looks like an angry mountain lion was dancing on my tailgate lol

One last thing since it’s semi relevant... Just realized I ordered it from tacomabeast pre Moab vandalism... never did business with them again after that.

Didn’t technically do anything to it, but I snagged up a set of 4Runner wheels/tires. Will hope to offload both the 4runner rubber and my stock tires to bankroll some newer summers. Failing that, I’m set for tires for the next 4-10 years.

 

Totally using this idea. I have a few cards that only get used when I am in my truck. Costco being one of them.

 

Looks Exactly like OEM, Has the Rough Finish and The Black Color matches Perfectly! The (SRS Air Bag) Font/letters, is a little different, but that's the only way you can tell its not Toyota! Won't EVER really even notice it, but you will now that I pointed it out! LOL

15 Minutes With Pictures! Would have taken (me) 5 Min! But I ran into that Clip Nut Issue, Could "NOT" get that lower Bolt to Catch! Took it apart and that Clip nut Was Pushed open 45*degrees...wth...Soft Metal...Like its made of Brass?

Haven't Driven it Yet. Got home from work, and went out to put it on and do an update here, then dinner!
Doesn't look like it's gonna be a problem though! I have an 05' also, and that has the Handle already, so it probably won't mess me up at all.

I have the Dakar HD’s that are going to be installed. I’ve heard a lot of pros and cons with these packs. When I got them they were all the rage without going custom leafs. We’ll see how they do! If they don’t perform then I’ll look into other platforms.

Im not sure but i think it was short and slightly angled off to the side of the truck. I’m sure i would dry fit everything and adjust to what fits best
