I'd prefer to stay of E loads, which is why I'm debating 285/70 & 255/75's

EDIT: I'll probably run my 255/75/17 Yokohama G003's for a while until I make a decision...

I went 285/70s. But I also have 3” of lift so anything smaller/thinner looks goofy. Problem is you have to then either choose wheel spacers or new wheels for more negative offset to clear the UCAs on most tires. And trim a little plastic, etc. but my bumpers/steps are already chopped.

255/75s you shouldn’t have to do much if any of that.

I had considered 255/80 but also did not want E rated.

You definitely need to cut still with 255/75's if you plan on flexing them out. I have them with a 3" lift / wheel spacers and it doesn't look weird at all, it looks like they fit and actually give you room for the tires to flex without hitting stuff.

I'm leaning towards 255/75/17 or 265/70/17. 1st Gen Tundra wheels, and 1.25" spidertrax with OME and JBA UCA's awaiting install...

I like those. I actually picked one of those from a junkyard to serve as my spare when I went from 16" to 17" wheels. I assume the backspace on those are ideal?

I used to see these sold for cheap on Craigslist a lot. I haven't checked in a while.

I'm running 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks on OEM wheels with no lift. The bumper/winch bring the front down a bit and it does rub ever so slightly at full lock/stuff. I have a 2" OME kit waiting to be installed and am trying to decide what size tires I want. Side steps have been removed and metal bumpers front/rear. Will be performing pinch weld mod and have no problem trimming if need be. Leaning toward 255/80/17, but don't want to run wheel spacers or buy new wheels. Anyone running 255's and clearing aftermarket UCA's?

255/80/17’s cleared my factory uppers, and have even more clearance with my SPC’s.

Anyone want a set of these canopy brackets for OEM roof racks? I went a different direction. $80 here vs their $100

I like those Yoko's. I've only seen a few people run them but they seem to love them.

This set has about 20k on them. I had them on my GC before I put them on my 5th gen. Took them off to put the Toyos on for DD use. Lexus will wear them out before upgrading
