It pissed me off so much I sold the blue and never ordered another set. Swore I wouldn't order anything else from her. "So, how did that work out for you?" Fail.

She just does a lot of cool stuff. I preordered her heads up display that I hope will be done next year sometime.

 

Yeah, that's rough when the first experience wasn't good. Big turn off for me also. Hopefully second time is a charm.

I ordered a pair of Subaru tweeters to pop in as long as I have to take off the drivers side pillar anyway. They won’t be here til sometime next week, so I’m really hoping that somewhere between now and then I hear something from KTJO... if nothing else it means I’m patiently waiting on both the speakers and the pillar to do the job, but if the speakers are here first I’ll probably get annoyed...

I vaguely remember from her original thread I owe something (PayPal fees? Shipping?). I don’t remember what it was, but I remember being annoyed that I purchased the way she set up and somehow I’m responsible for paying the difference she didn’t account for... as one of the original orders a year ago, it seems a bit ridiculous that the shipping seems to be recent orders first (and I could have kept my cash in my pocket), if not completely random order fulfillment...

 

At this point I think anyone who was bright enough to wait for the actual product to be on the shelf before plunking their money down would qualify.

The only dissenting opinion there would be if this happened to change, I would have been out as $170 plus shipping was already on the high side for me.

 

BTW, no rivnut was included in the hardware pack. At least for mine.

This was the only reason I ordered mine earlier instead of waiting too. Although her website didn't actually charge me for shipping when I ordered, so who knows what that will be...

I think the lockdown might be f#%^ing with my thinking but the old “fool me twice, shame on me” thing is starting to appear funny to me. As it turns out, I’ve been fooled twice before I knew I’d been fooled once.

To make sure I had all the loose ends tied up, I asked her by text about the shipping on Nov 24, just after the ship had docked. Long story short I ended up sending her $30 usd for international parcel. Thought all was good but it went off the rails when I got the conf email. Address was mangled and postal code was missing. Sent the correction. Nothing happened for a week so sent another email to explain that shipping is paid and is there a problem? No response. But lots of recent orders going out. WTF?

There will not be a fool me thrice.
