Charlotte, NC area: hate on OP, houses, boats & hoes

Choices in the 255 size suck. I imagine in the next few years finding 255's will probably be like finding hens teeth. They will prob all be phased out.

Your right.. the guy at the tire shop I went to yesterday looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked for 255’s.. he chuckled and said you mean 285’s? I returned the look, and said no bitch I said 255’s look them up

My next set will more than likely be 285's. If these st maxxs ever die. Almost 7k on them and no wear.

 

Been told that by numerous people at local tire shops. No real demand = no drive to produce said product.

 

I got 68k out of my last set, they had 6/32nd left when I swapped them out.

 

Maybe I should stock up after all @ovrlndkull

 

Just look around man. Majority of people want a wide tired. Hard to stunt on skinnys.

Yea i remember you telling me that. Maybe ill unload them before they get worn to far.

 

I got a guy a set of 5 old KM2s but it took 3 months to get all 5. BfG stopped production completely during covid and Michelin slowed to a crawl. NITTO who has been running full force is now starting to dry up. Lots of guys getting hit hard by this.

 

Told ya I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but when I see writing on the wall I usually take it as a pretty blatant sign and don't sit back on my lorells

Haha. Na 255s are not going anywhere. There have been supply issues with all sizes due to Covid. That’s it.

 

Unfortunately tomorrow I have to head to Thomasville first thing I’ll be back around the shop by nine or 10 most likely though
