Do these gains need to be realized by the end date? Like cash in account? Or does value of stocks play?

 

@slodoug final say. My vote: Value of stocks + earnings from options contracts. I don't think it would be "fair" to force everyone to sell off a winning and rising position just for the sake of a TW trophy.

I will be investing mine but it will just be part of our standard investment allocations. I'm not into doing my own trading and all that.

rule question: Do you have to buy with the 600? As in, let's say I have 50$ in BCLI, and 50$ in MESO, can I allocate X number of stocks on that day, and say "Based on their price at open today, these stocks that I already own are 100$ of my 600$" or something like that?

It would have to be at open or price at 9:35:00 or something like that.
I vote I can carry over stonks I already own, BUT it's at 9:35:00 price, because that's when some people are allowed to buy options, some can't trade at 9:30:00

 

Stop it. No margin, fresh money, stop cheating. Only purchases or options done on or after start date apply.

 

I took my 20k EIDL loan and started trading it. Savings account interest rates are a joke.

 

I bought Quantumscape (QS) ~$11.00 in October. Sold my position today; 50% @$110, 50% @$115. High today was ~$127, easy come easy go.

 

I'm New...but i'm in..add me to the list please. Going to dump it in my webull account anyway, this will just add incentive not to do something stupid.
