Looks nice, that thing's going to hold a ton of water. Check out my out of the box design for the back of my Tacoma. I can pull it out and put it in the sun. That's what she said. 3.5 Gallons.

One thing that might be worth looking at. Good friend of mine up in Gaspe buys stair traction stuff. Not sure what it is called but it is peel and stick and they use it on stair treads for winter traction. Has way more grit / slip resistance than the tape. You can cut it to fit and that stuff adheres solidly. Works really well. Sticks forever. And if you beat it up it is not that hard to peel off and replace for a refresh.

For reference, I think it was something like this. He bought it at a lumber yard that sells all kinds of stairs and such:

Almost abducted by a UFO last night. Luckily they didn't probe me, all they wanted was a Taco motor.

    Nice work!

I got two bottom covers. LoL! exchange@ktjo4x4.com is the address that we need for that.

It looks like you didn't struggle with the top bolt? I had to pry hard upward to get it properly aligned and threaded. This was the angle, riding hard on the pillar trim. I had to start it with the handle unseated to get anywhere.

Yea, I forgot to put that part in! The angle for the TOP Bolt IS up a little high!
I just ended up putting the bolt in and bend the bracket down a hair and then continued with the install...Thanks for reminding me, I'll put that in my write up!

That makes three of us. I wonder WTF was the thought process because it is off way more than a tolerance issue.

I really hate to deform the bracket since the left side ones only have two legs. The ones on the right have three with the third one going forward to the pillar structure. I have to guess that is for tension?

I need to see the gap and install in sunlight.
