Ooof yeah that would be terrifying. That was the thought I had when I saw her start to make the bookshelf sway, I didn't think she had that kind of strength in her but I was wrong. And it's only going to get more crazy the older she gets. We initially had them secured to the wall with those earthquake straps, but those have slack in them that still allow them to rock back and forth. I need to just bolt them to the wall

You're lucky on the tree. That year my live tree ended up on its side and water everywhere. Ornaments and lights had to be moved to the upper half of the tree lol

Also good thoughts on the C19 test. Were you sick or just wanted to get tested?

Wife has had 3 tests so far. Been exposed more times than she can count. Thankfully she's tested neg each time and hasn't been sick. Several of her co-workers out on quarantine. She received the first dose of the pfizer vaccine on the 16th. No issues at all from it other than 'as expected' major soreness at injection site.

Happy Holidays all. Be safe out there.

No symptoms, but we want to be sure before we see her parents even though we're doing it from a distance and all. Since they're in their 70s. A lot of people at my work are coming down with it lately, I'm pretty isolated working in the photo studio but early last week I was in close quarters with someone who tested positive and is out on quarantine now. So definitely want to make sure I'm not carrying it even if I'm asymptomatic.

I know the tests aren't always accurate and a negative might still mean positive, so no matter what we'll keep our distance and all. Except if it does come back as positive we'll just be staying home.

    Crazy.

Wife had a patient who worked in a deli. Patient fell at work and ended up in the ER. Rapid tested positive on admission. Patient admitted to a low grade fever but continued to work because patient was worried insurance wouldn't cover if it was C-19 and didn't want to miss work. So now everyone working with patient now a possible along with everyone who wanted a fing sandwich.

People man, wtf is wrong with them.

Yeah I totally understand the frustration but also the fear people have of losing their income. But your income is going to stop anyway if you end up in the ER on a ventilator or dead, not to mention giving it to other people that are trusting you to be healthy enough to serve them.

It is crazy, to think when this all started and my wife's business was getting shut down we thought it was just going to be a few weeks lol. And here we are. There was a small 3 week window over summer where she was able to open again but they've been closed since, minus the limited outdoor classes they are able to hold which doesn't amount to anything comparatively. Her company is surviving on the PPP loans from the last stimulus and they'll definitely need to do the next one that's coming around too.

I watched Fatman on Amazon last night. Interesting spin on Santa Clause. Good movie. Not for kids really.

No, not like that at all. This one makes Santa into a kind hearted badass of sorts.

I'll have to check it out. My wife's all into the feel good Hallmark xmas movies which wears me down every year...although the one with Kurt Russel as Santa Claus last year was pretty good

Not a Hallmark movie for sure. Mel Gibson plays Chris Cringle. Not one of his whacko movies either. I liked it.

yeah it was called Christmas Chronicles, it was pretty funny even though it's geared toward kids. Tied in some adult humor and all

There's a part 2 that came out more recently and it's pretty bad, the first one is good though

Walter Goggins was awesome in The Shield and Justified, but his most under-appreciated role was as the transvestite Venus Van Damme in Sons of Anarchy

    Lol that's fair

It's labeled as a 250A breaker but it's rating sticker in the lower left says it's only a 150A guy. I ordered a 150A for this particular build
