I'm in the market and this thread has been a wealth of knowledge, so thank you all for your input. But it leaves me with 2 questions -

Anyone ever put one of these on a 2nd gen regular cab? If so, let's see some pics!
Has anyone come up with a way to open these from the inside? I like using my topper as a camper when skiing/on road trips and being able to close and open the liftgate from the interior is a must for me.

I'll post a pic later, but wanted everyone to know that Front Runner Wolf Pack totes fit well in the bin slide accessory. You don't have to buy the RLD Lion pack totes. I would have bought the Lion Packs, but I already had 4 Front Runners. Per the measurements of the RLD slide and Front Runner bins, it looked like it would work, but wanted to throw this real world confirmation out there.

Yes! They happen to have a short bed all black on the way for their stock when I called to order so I only had to wait a month or so. Lucky timing.

Was the break light an extra feature for the canopy?

Does anyone have a photo of the single long bed door option w/ a window vs. solid?

And is there a newer window design being used on these now?

Im curious as well, if it is a new window design I must say that it looks a lot better. Makes me wish I had gotten it with a window... kinda

A few follow on questions on this as I'm looking to get those same bars. Thank you in advance.

    1. Can those end caps be pulled off by chance? (wondering if I could shorten them a bit, and put those back on).

    2. Do you have a photo straight on from the front or rear of the truck with them on?

    3. Any chance you remember what hardware you used?

    1. Yes. There is a single hex bolt that holds the caps on.

    2. I don’t. But I’m just getting ready to install the bars again as I just got a new RLD canopy with the side windows. Just let me know what pictures you want and I can take a few. Also, getting a half cabinet (or even a full) with the lion boxes and rails is another great option for these caps. Had the half cabinet already and just got the boxes and railing with the new canopy. Great way to store camping gear/food if that’s what your into. The rail and boxes are kind of expensive but the half cabinet was only $200.

    3. Yes. Stainless steel T bolts for the stainless canopy. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Thule/853-5648.html
