That is the most amazing cream cheese spreader I have ever seen.

Also, the lights look fantastic. I would love to attempt this. I will fail.

Just cleaning the dust off. That factory acrylic will scratch if you look at it wrong.

Three new, popular upgrades : LEDs everywhere, Falken Wildpeak 265 75 16 SL, Sabellco Tailgate lock. Did the first and third ones myself and they were very easy.

I don't know yet. Cause its either ditch lights or dash cam. I'm leaning more towards the dash cam only because of the way people drive lately...... But thanks for the offer.

I appreciate the advice. That is what I have been reading about them and I don't think I really have a need for them.

Dashcams are must in today's world. I have one in front and one in back. The back one is a leftover from my previous vehicle. The front has GPS. Hopefully I'm covered.

Would the tailgate lock be of use to me when I keep mine locked and closed 100% of the time (have a shell on the bed as well)? Are these easy to pick open?

Finished up the por-15 project. 12.5 hours in total... but wow, this is some good stuff!

While the struts, shocks and tires were off for a suspension swap, I got into those areas first and applied a top coat afterwards since it sees sunlight.

After that, I rolled myself around and got to the remaining underbody components, working in sections. I used a full tyvek suit and that probably saved me from a lot of stains, but the stuff wasn’t too drippy. I did not use a sprayer so I didn’t have to tape off anything. Just went real slow and went into the harder to reach areas with a foam brush first.

Will have a full write-up on my page. Cheers!

No smart ass, I found they basically have to be pointed off at a 90 angle. Also I used a flood not a direct. The flooded light brightens up your hood and it just bugs the hell out of me. Hence why I used “just my opinion”. Sorry if I have offended your cool ditch lights.

Looks fantastic! Exactly what I’d like to do too but would fail miserably. Not something I’m willing to risk

Looks great! One question, how much por-15 did it take to cover all that? Thanks!

Since my KTJO didn't arrive today - well, OK, I just ordered this morning - I ran Christmas lightaround the bed of my truck. Lynn and I went out to a golf course close to use where they light up the entire course with Christmas lights and displays. You drive your vehicle around the cart path - takes about 40 minutes to go through the whole thing and the wait can be as long as 2 hours to get in. It's truly awesome.

Seems to happen when wiping dust off. Also seems pretty common. Luckily I’ve not scratched mine but throwing a little money to make sure I don’t is not a bad thing. I’m sure there where better things I could have spent money on.

Yeah, so that’s where I lost a little dinero on buying the kit. I used both their 4 oz containers of rust stop and then about 2/3 of an additional pint. I feel safe in saying one pint could do all this. And truthfully, I didn’t double coat but in certain areas.

The clear cover in the Tacoma instrument cover is made of acrylic that scratches when attempting to remove dust. From the first time you wipe it, it will create micro scratches that reflect light from various angles, looking awful and making visibility terrible in bright sunlight. The vinyl cover hides the existing scratches, and it is self healing, so you can clean the display and not have to worry about it.
