TRD Pro LR Allocations

Is there a way to see if a dealer still has allocations for a 2021 LR TRD Pro ? As always dealers lie and I just put down a deposit on a LR TRD Pro. Every dealer in my area states that they are the number one seller of TRDs so they get more of this trucks. I don't want to wait the 3 months to be told they don't have anymore allocations. South Florida (Earl Stewart Toyota if that helps). I have been checking local inventory everyday for a truck just to be safe. All dealers locally seem to have pre sold the TRD Pros they list as for sale on their websites. First time purchasing a Toyota.

 

Find one that's "sold" per dealer, then offer more money for it. Sales people will sell it to you

 

I never found any way of reliably seeing where the LR PROs are going... unfortunately.

I placed an order in October for one and the dealer (a VERY large one) notified me that the expected 2-3 month wait (back then) was now expected to be 4-6 months as the recent production was sold out... There will be another batch going to production in March apparently...

- Fortunately, I got lucky and snagged an allocated one by chance as that dealer posted it as I happened to be looking. I was the first to call.

It is easy if you want to overpay, There are several with $10-25k markups.... but I assume you'd rather not.

 

We ordered our Pro on Oct. 15th and it was delivered to us on Dec. 19th. Two months and four days. Took as long to have it trucked to our dealer as it did to wait for it to built. Very pleased with it--first off-road trip today--short but oh so sweet.

 

Yea just got off the phone with my sells rep and she originally quotes (3) months now she said (6) months. Im already paying MSRP and not willing to spend 5k-20k over.

 

I can't wait!!

 

I also ordered my Pro m/t October 23rd and was told then it would be end of January delivery. I was informed yesterday by the sales guy, Toyota Canada emailed saying “I’m in the batch of Pro’s to be made January.”

They show a LR Pro. The Grey one has been there a couple of weeks. This is not too far from South Florida.
