You might be right. I was looking at mobtown and these, and I think mobtown had a few reinforcements. Like I said, these are probably plenty for me and most people. Was just an observation

I think Mobtown does have the reinforcements. I got SOS though mainly because I found a used set at 1/2 the cost. Seems like there's more SOS available in the Southeast. I'm sure because of where they are located. I do want the Mobtown rack though the one that goes over the softopper sexist one on the market but $$$$$$ is keeping me out of the game right now. Spending my coin on other mods. (Like tires and break jobs) :D

I did notice that the backing plates on the sliders - the front mounting part - has a bit of a gap between plates. I wonder if this will be a potential rust issue spot. Also you can see on the exhaust bump where the holes are, the drill grabs the metal or something. These are just little things though.

As long as the mounting holes line up and they go on, I’m happy.

I think if the interior of the plates were primed, it wouldn’t even be an issue. Gap probably opens up with the tack welds.

Ok, sliders and IFS/mid skids installed. It does seem like there should be more mounting points for the driver side, but otherwise no big issues. Biggest issue I had (besides not being able to reach the front mount location inside the frame) was that I can’t get the passenger lower bolt in. I think I need to chase the threads.

I thought I had a major issue with the IFS skid because I couldn’t get a bolt on the rear mounts. Then I realized I was using too big a bolt. The only thing I can think of as a complaint is that the instructions say to put the mid skid above the IFS skid lip. This wasn’t possible. Mounted below/behind. Fitment to the front mounting points as complained on previous versions was not an issue here.

Didn't think you had time to let the paint dry prior to install. Also you mentioned "as a complaint is that the instructions say to put the mid skid above the IFS skid lip. This wasn’t possible. Mounted below/behind." that's what I meant by "I'll check my over and under tomorrow." I think had this issue too but I have ALL pro Skids. So I was going to check the lay out/ bolt pattern.

Ahh, got it. This stuff dries pretty quickly, but I did get caught out a little bit by how I set them down to dry for the 24h+ or so - in that period it did flake off where it was in contact with a surface. Otherwise it's fine. Will need to do a top coat or more on the sliders in the spring. Brushed this time.
