Got 5x 265/75R/16s in SL installed on Thursday. Pulled my buddy in a Silverado 4x2 out of the mud yesterday. Awesome tires so far. Heading to Colorado and then Michigan soon to test them out in the snow.

I only looked at the top tire but it said "made in Canada."

I got these tires mounted yesterday. Kind of disappointed. They are smaller in diameter than my stock GY ATA w/Kevlar. I was definitely not expecting that. I initially ordered 265/75/16 and than changed my order to 265/70/16. I regret doing that. So to anyone else considering these, they appear to run small.

According to America's Tire website (same company as Discount Tire Direct, depends on what part of the country you are in) both of those tires have a diameter of 30.6". Ultraterrain 265/75-16 is 31.7" diameter.

I have 265/75-16s on my Tacoma and I love 'em. Ask your tire shop to swap yours out for 265/75s. They were just installed so the shop should change 'em out for you.

Like @XSplicer62 said above, the diameter is the same as other 265/75/16 tires. I went from a Duratrac in that size to an Ultraterrain in that size, and they both fill the wheel well the same amount. The pictures below aren't from quite the same angle, but it gives you a good idea:

There is a difference in what’s printed on paper and actual results. My tires are smaller in diameter, period. My speedometer was dead accurate prior to switching to these tires. Now I can set my cruise to 70 mph but I am actually doing 69 mph which indicates a smaller diameter.

Ah, yes. I got caught up in comparing the two tires of the same size that I've had on my truck. The UTs look just as good, perform very similarly, and seem to the the same size as the Duratracs that I had in 265/75. I don't have any personal experience with UTs in the 265/70 size.

Other than the smaller diameter, the tires are great. Balanced out good and ride nice. No extra noise.

Looks pretty good, especially in the bottom one. Doesn't look undersized compared to stock to me, but then again, it's not my truck and I haven't seen it in person.

Yeah, it’s hard to tell in pics. And than there is the fact that speedometer is off by 1 mph now and I’m 100% positive it was accurate prior to switching tires. I’m weird and check that on all of our vehicles.

Got to give mine a real test yesterday

90 miles off road in snowy & rocky BLM roads at 18 psi

Snow ranged from 4-8" depending on elevation (avg was 6400')

They did well even in 2wd..used 4x4 on the steep/shady/rocky sections

Places where you wouldn't want to slip over the edge..being 40 miles from the hwy..;)

I like 'em overall...having another set on our GX 460...yes...all E rated

How do these compare to the KO2 in terms of noise? I have always found the KO2 quiet on the highway with a bit of hum between 35-50. I am intrigued by these, but don't want anything louder than the KO2.

x2. I have had both. Not enough hum from UltraTerrains to be a problem -- most of the time I literally don't hear mine at all. Depends on the pavement.
