What does a power-opening RTT get you in that club?

From what I remember, the power wire coming out of the camera is fairly thin, so a 20 amp fuse is probably excessive (i.e. the wire will burn before the fuse blows). If the camera is the only item on the circuit, the fuse should be changed to say a 5 amp.

Can make your own, not a rocket science here. Building a rectangle and welding it together along with crossbars and planks of wood is a one weekend job.:hattip: I know the right guy for it:boink:

Costs of design and the fact steel is heavy. Why add so much weight when aluminum is lighter and doesn't rust? Then you have so much additional work, and then making it look nice. That's where I come in. No guess work, everything is done. From mounting to wiring.

Exactly, if someone wants a steel deck they can do so with a welder and square tube. But again, it'll be heavy and rust is inevitable.

It wouldn't be hard at all to make your own flat bed. But for anyone with out the skills or contacts any metal fabrication shop could do the work. And specifically there are a number truck body fabricators around Ontario. Google Ontario truck bodies for a list.

I appreciate that! I understand there are cheaper options out there, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I was going to make my own skid plates.
Seemed easy enough. Got down there started to look at mounting points and clearance . Then thought about buying the steel. Cutting and welding. Seemed a better deal to buy one. Same with bumpers and sliders. I have a front bumper partially made i gave up on because it made more sense to buy one.

With the diy kit all you have to do is weld together no thinking needed.
So while making your own flatbed might seem easy at first im sure it's not all that easy especially when trying to make it functional and pleasing to the eye and structurely sound.

100% Correct there. That's why I'm here to fill that void. All that work is taken care of. I'm working on a product that will be sub $9,000 for a base deck, so a few less options but still gives you the ability to add the main accessories at any point. The base deck is also only 40-50lbs heavier than the factory box, so you can easily run this on factory springs. Factory box = 250lbs, base deck equals 295lbs~. A complete kit out with tool boxes, drawer, side gates is around 450lbs, and will require heavier springs, but still lighter than steel and will last longer.
