Just finished installing the OEM remote tailgate lock on my 2021. Piece of cake. Only hard part was access to the grommet under the front seat. Use d my winbag to raise it up! Very handy tool...

What did you use to ensure you didn’t get any spray on the rest of the truck? I’d love to do this but I feel like I’d get it everywhere. Looks killer!

 

Great suggestion because I ordered the OEM one last week and am waiting for it to arrive

 

Installed ARB compressor and switches waiting for Nitro 529 gears to show up and then the front locker will go in.

 

Probably not. I installed the second lock in case I forget to lock the tailgate or have it down. The key is the same one as your truck, so I don't think it's too likely to get picked. $90 for peace of mind was worth it for me.

Got a little package today. Little project I will be working on this weekend. Have 4 days off (it’s like a vacation) but the weather is not supposed to be great. But hopefully I get some of the project started.

I did kind of the same thing, but on my visor. I keep my assorted Hospital badges in them since I need them for the parking garages.

That’s the great thing about plasti dip compared to paint. When you spray it you tape it off the best you can but whatever over spray you do get, it wipes right off with a micro fiber rag.

 

If you haven’t already done so, I’d email support and see if they’d just send them. I emailed when it was first posted but prior to being on site. I already had communication with them about issues (the screws being 1) at the beginning of this yr so I asked to get sent screws to my previous complaint. Supposedly on the way but we will see

 

Finally stopped raining for a minute so I installed my new DD SS3 fogs. Love these!

 

I did exactly what you said and found the canopy wires went through the frame quite nicely, i followed them through to a grommet under the driver seat. Thanks for replying with this because I wouldnt have thought to even take off the rear break light!
