You can grill either. One lacks flavor and texture and the only reason it's popular is marketing.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
And why would you flip the meat on a smoker? It doesn't use direct heat for a reason...

I don't know...ask the guy who posted about flipping meat on a smoker?

That is a good question though. Indirect does't necessarily mean even heat. But that doesn't necessitate "flipping". Moving around could suffice.

Even my convection ovens at work that cost $6k each don't cook perfectly even. I should probably have them serviced so they do cook evenly. It's kind of a pain in the ass.

Shit, sorry about the snarky reply in that first bit. For whatever reason I thought you were asking me directly. Derp. I understand now.

Idk. Im new to this and loving it. I was in heaven last night eating that chicken. Dont burst my bubble mark. Lol. Got drumsticks on right now

Idk. Instructions from pit boss website say to flip. I could see one side more cooked than the other if i dont flip. Again, im learning and loving it :hungry::drool:

Also, thighs are the best meat (I'm keeping this chicken related at the moment...). That's what they typically use at Teriyaki joints.

I guess I need to check out the pit boss and how is set up. The traeger I just let it sit there like... No flipping needed just like an oven.

I spotted him on 24 eastbound around Lafayette Friday at 3. He was behind me all the way to 680/242 split and continued on 680.. I gave him a thumbs up and got a wave in return.

Thigh flavor wise is much better than breast. It just has a higher fat content / isn’t as lean. Marketing and the idea of how much healthier it is has made thighs undesirable.

    I love thighs. Mm.
