LED With DRL Package

Does anyone know if the “LED headlights with daytime running lights and black bezel LED fog lights” has all LED lights in the headlight housing? Obviously the low beams are LED, as well as the fog lights, but I’m specifically curious about the High beams and the side marker lights (not the turn signals in the mirrors, but the side marker bulb in the headlight housing).

Also, will that package interfere with adding LED bulbs elsewhere in the truck? I’m curious if it will cause any issues if I replace the interior lights, taillights, and reverse lights either LED bulbs. I’m sure they’re probably on different circuits, but I’ve seen weirder crap with electronics. Lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

 

The LED headlight package is coded "LG" on the vin spec website. And yes, the high beams are also LED.

Can't speak on adding LED's elsewhere.

Everything in the headlight is LED, you can’t change anything, when the lights die you have to replace the entire headlight. Single harness connected to the entire headlight.

taillights are not LED though.

 

I know Toyota also offers an entire LED package that covers the interior, exterior (including headlights, taillights and tag lights). I only know this because this guy I was talking to a couple week ago at work bought a 2021 TRd off-road with the led upgrade however he was running the standard headlights (halogen housings) with led bulbs which isn’t technically legal.

 

That’s something done by the dealer not Toyota.

 

Thanks! I plan on switching out the tail lights and reverse lights to LED like I did previously. Wasn’t sure about the headlights though. I’m gonna have to take a better look at the side markers to see if they look like LED or not. Might just be a more subtle brightness than what I used before.

 

the side markers are sealed in there, no bulb to change, definitely LED.

I have this package and swapped out the interior lighting for LEDS, also added LED rock lights underneath. No issues at all after 8K miles.

Yeah I have LEDs in everything now too. Taillights, but had to get resistors for hyper flash. MESO ultimates should fix that though when the sequential ones come out. Went fireflys for interior, they are a good mix of bright but not ridiculous bright.

 

I took all my LEDs out of my old truck. All interior, all taillights including reverse, and all lights from the front. They were only a couple months old. Same Gen. I’m hoping they’ll all be the same size. Gonna find out tomorrow!

Now I gotta find someone to sell my front end LED bulbs to. Lol

 

Have the LED package and yes It's all LED up front. Did add interior LEDs with no issue. Debating on doing the taillights.
