Bunch of stuff bolted on, some cool, some not
I was planning on taking my old lady out on Saturday up around Skykomish, let me see if she's still up for it. If I end up flying solo, I would definitely be down to check it out. I have yet to be up there and it's on my short list.

EDIT: Well, talked to the wife and she wants family time since it's Christmas-ish, so I'm gonna be a no-show. I will be in the area though so, if you get stuck, let me know, I can come get stuck in the same place so we need more people that need help (I'll also try to help if I can :D)!

Got the swing out tailgate frame done. The lower pipe sits on the same bars that the factory tailgate does. Then its bolted 8 times to the factory nuts and then the 4 smaller bolts go the the tail lights.20201224_154152.jpg 20201224_154145.jpg

Are you planning on attaching that anywhere else? I’d be wary of just relying on bolts to support a full size spare and whatever else you decide to throw on there

I bought some long needle nose hose pliers to see if I can stuff my diff breather hose back on yesterday. I’ll mess with it Sunday that’s all I need to get done and I’m ready to go.

The tube is attached to the notches that hold the stock tailgate too so the bolts are mainly for horizontal movement. Its the same mounting points that wilco uses for their tiregate. wish their was a good way to mount it to the frame of the truck but there really isnt short of a new steel bumper.

If you remove the front two mounting bolts you should be able to angle it down enough to get both the bolt and the tubes reattached. thats how Ive done it before when Ive forgotten them >.>

What about throwing in a piece of tube at an angle to tie in to the factory bed frame bolts?

Not yet. Bezels on my BD fogs is turning purple. Though I am thinking about the DD SAE fogs.

I have the DD fogs. I don't know any different, but they're great.
