The kid's appointment just got canceled because of the weather. The annoying part is I still have to go up to the hospital to pick up a shit ton of medication so I have to go out in this nonsense anyway.

    :annoyed:

Only about 2 inches or so but it's the 60mph wind and the layer of ice under it that's the real problem.

This is a neat coat rack someone made. They cut the bottom with a saw.

Trust me, I don't want it any more than you do!

Heading to the pharmacy. If you don't hear from me, it's because I'm in a ditch somewhere.:p

Why oh why couldn't you have kept it there?! Blizzard warning starts here in 2.5 hours. It is the ice that is coming first which worries me the most. Have 25 pounds of smoked cheese and 15 pounds of smoked mixed nuts to deliver to friends for Christmas presents going to try to leave at lunch to get a head start. Damn work always seems to get in the way of life. Retired from the Navy 25 years ago and I was eligible to retire for good in June on second career. After the blizzard hits and I start chipping ice and pushing snow I just may.... Or at least go some where they don't know what a snow shovel is or have couple hundred pounds of ice melt in the garage.

Thanks and thank YOU for the pictures of the house you rented! I moved to Mn. from Western NC, was there on recruiting duty for my twilight tour my last 3 years. Then liked it so much stayed another 4 before moving to Mn. Mother and youngest sister are in Wake Forrest, NC. I could do WNC again in a heart beat....

Was a Navy Nuclear Operator retired as a Machinist Mate Chief. Went down to Oconee Nuclear Station in SC couple of years (~1993 or so) before I retired and talked to the operators there most are Ex Navy. Figured getting a job was a given but they all told me they were actually laying off and being replaced by computers. And I needed to get into computers. Had had a lot of experience with computers before that so jumped into the world of computers head first. Turned out it was a great choice and good time to do so. Is this a hell of a country or what?!

Followed you here from the link in your post in the weekly photo challenge which I have been slacking in. Will say that the little that I have read in here I am impressed by your work, and then some
