Want to hear something crazy? Mine has the Laramie package with is the leather heated/cooled seats, center console and the bigger screen in the dash. Well If you get the tradesman package your tow rating goes up to 17,xxx. That must be some heavy leather and stuff to reduce it by 2k lbs. I can figure that out no matter what math I use. Lol o_O

My buddy said it was quite a bit to get it setup to use the dial to back the trailer up. Said he read everything and decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. Lol

I’d be in the park of I want to see this thing do it though if I had it. Haha

I had to look for a while to find the exact setup I wanted. Every time I found one I wanted it was gone kinda like you’re saying. There are so many variations. I didn’t like the shifter on the steering column, I wanted the full size screen, heated seats, rear A/C vents, remote start and adjustable pedals along with the towing package and sport package. Oh and I was looking for a used truck in a certain price and mileage range.:anonymous: You can ask @Bigdaddy4760 I looked for a few months before I landed on this one. I think he probably got tired of me texting him about trucks. Lol. After I worked the price I got the dealer to throw in new tires & wheels, rhino liner and bed cover. I would have to say that I love to wheel and deal but this was probably the first time I got everything I asked for. It was a fun process.

Hmm that is odd. Does it have the same gears and suspension? I know the different packages have subtle differences that add up pretty quickly. Sometimes they trade towing capacity for ride comfort, mileage and etc.

I’ve looked at it briefly but haven’t really tried to digest it yet. Definitely looks involved but as you said I have it and I’m going to at least try it! :D

Nope. 2wd with locking rear diff. I feel that should get me most everywhere I NEED to go. I made a conscious decision to go toward ride comfort, fuel mileage, towing capacity and better gears for towing. My goal is to get the kids through college (about 5 years) then build a dedicated OR rig. I tried soooo hard to keep my Tacoma but it just wasn’t a wise financial decision.

Nice, I typically steer clear of good like turbos and supercharger to make it easier to work on when a problem occurs. Gotta love the Ford bubble wrap. Probably my fav of interiors put there. Very nice.
