Those angles look great! I'd be really happy if I could get somewhere closer to those than I'm sitting now.

Thanks! I'm hoping I can get them lowered, I held off on the Ironman tool, but it's definitely in my future. Seems anything with their branding is super stout, also helpful that it doubles as their rebuild tool.
I'll be running the FN FX Pro Wheels which are a 17x8 0mm Offset and 4.5" backspace. Hoping I can get the alignment done Saturday or Monday with minimal driving until it's done.

@Superhulk LB It looks like the squeak only happens with upward spring and UCA movement, not sure why that would come into play after adjusting the coilover preset though  at first I thought it looked like the top mount may have had a little movement, but I watched a 2nd time and didn't see it.

Well we got all the parts in! I had mine prebuilt for 2.5 inches so hopefully it will be right and not too high.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m a little stumped what would cause it. It’s funny you mentioned the top mount, cause I thought the same first time watching it too.

as far as your wheels, that should be a nice set up. What tires you going to run?

    Bigger tires might fix it!

is there anything you can grease or spray dry lube on that UCA? Maybe the angle changed it a bit from where it would not squeak to where it will.

Someone recommended a lubricant, I have to see if I can pick it up at a automotive parts store. Otherwise I’ll be ordering it on Amazon. It’s a Du Pont product.
Just maybe that will solve the issue....

Quick question @BearWithMe, I’m having the exact same issue. What brand shim did you go with, do you have a part number handy by chance? Also did you need to purchase a different center pin or was the one supplied by Ironman long enough to support the added height with the axle shim? (I have performance load not constant, unsure if you have the same but we both have third gen DCSB.) Any advice would be huge! Thank you!

I wonder if your spring is rubbing on the shock tube. Coil overs can get misaligned when assembled and if you just changed your ride height that could be your problem. Most coils overs don’t run into the rubbing issue but the Ironman shocks are so damn girthy that if they are slightly off, they can rub on the coil. One possible option.

If you haven’t done so, grab a buddy (preferably the one with the biggest beer gut) and have him stand on the tire push down on the hood/fender to see if you can replicate that sqeak based on compression. Next thing I would do is try rocking it back and forth and see if it makes the noise, finally I’d put the front on jack stands and jack the passenger side up from the LCA and then slowly lower it and check for any binding. A thorough inspection of the shock piston at full droop might produce an answer as well.

I can jump on the sliders and get the noise to replicate. I’ll have to get it up in jack stands and check the motion.

I did contact Ironman and the shop that installed it, so hoping to get some support there as well. I’ve heard it could be the bushings. Also heard it might just need to get settled at the new angle and the noise will go away on its own.

When did your leaf springs start squeaking?? I’ve been on the lookout ever since you mentioned it but seem to have gotten lucky in that department so far.
