Do you keep the drip tray lined with heavy duty aluminum foil? I usually keep 2 layers on it and it works great plus makes clean up easier

My neighbor said Publix had a similar sale.

I bought early and paid more before the sales hit. Not realizing I was going to get sick, it worked out for me.

I am not sure if it was because of the grand opening or not, but I have scored just over 1200 rounds of 9mm and a box of 800 in .22LR in the last 3 weeks at our new Gander RV. I just picked up a Springfield Hellcat a couple weeks ago also. Any mods that anyone knows of that I should be looking into? And should have my lower any day now and am putting together my first AR build. Going 6.5 Grendel Have a CMC lower parts kit, Rise 434 trigger and a LBE carbine buffer kit? Should I return that for a rifle length? The guy at the gun store said that is what I wanted, but after I bought it I noticed it was all he had too. I have stayed out of the AR platform world on purpose for ages. I can now see why. My wallet doesn't like having to compete between truck stuff and this. I have always been the rifle guy for hunting purposes and to toy around with some long range stuff. But with the coming world of who knows what I didn't want to loose my opportunity and had to jump on it. Oh and I have always reloaded so I have already stocked up on most of the stuff to build rounds for the Grendel. My daughter shoots a 6.5 Creedmoor so that is what drove me to the Grendel round. And that it should be fun for the "long range" stuff and a great round to play with rock chucks, rabbits and coyotes. All my buddies shoot .223 and .300BLK so this build is slightly different than theirs. They only care about under 200 yards and have pistol AR's.

Also for you smoker people looking at new smokers, I know it is kind of a ford/chevy thing, but I love my GMG.

I don’t prescribe to the Ford Chevy thing for me it’s just working with what you have and what works best for you. I love my cooker but even at that can find minuses with it. I need to start looking at deer meet in it now

$0.50/round. Considered going back for another, but the pre-Christmas line was too long (I have no patience).

You may want to look at Green Mountain Grills. 2 friends ate food from mine and sold their Traegers, bought GMG.

My nephew had a GMG and had nothing but issues with it. Traeger is not perfect, as nothing is, but I'm interested in their Timberline series.

No decision will be made for the next few months and I'll look at every product out there.

If you don't mind, what is your build like. I really want to go with the Odin Words complete upper. Love their reviews and would love to support a local Idaho company. But do I wait to afford that upper or just get something on it and then upgrade down the road. Better barrel and better bolt is all really, right? Sorry, I am super new to the AR platform. And it seems research will only get you more confused or get you the answers you want to see.

    Same crap everyone else got
I have a mbt-2s, bcm mcmr 10, surefire shim kit, and an sba3 all trapped in USPS "in transit" purgatory right now! The trigger is coming from FL and I'm in GA. It shipped 12 days ago and still in transit. I could have walked to the guys house by now and got it.

In my old age i have included target shooting as one of my hobbies, (.22) & I have really come to enjoy it, relaxing and challenging. The other day I purchased a couple of boxes of CCI "Copper" at 21 gr & 1850 fps I think it may be the fastest .22 on the market. went to the range yesterday & am still trying to figure out what purpose CCI has/had in mind for this ammo. I could get somewhat of a group at 25yds, at 50yds it really broke up and at 75yds, well just forget it!!, my only conclusion is that it might be a good for someone using a .22 for personal protection, anyone else have an opinion ??
