The main reason I upgraded my bulbs wasn't for the brightness. I wanted that snappy LED look instead of that dull halogen look. What MESO did with his stage one taillight kit is pretty awesome as well.

Well put. I don’t like having to put my sunglasses on at night time because of someone’s brake lights. A good example from the factory is Cadillac; it’s just not necessary! Don’t know how we made it through the 70’s and 80’s without them....o_O

How do you like these? I was going back and forth with taillights about two months ago. Decided to bash a pallet into my OEMs. Ended up going with DEPO pro lights and MESO stage one. These were definitely on my radar though.

Good to know! The quality of the vinyl they used is top-notch and their store is filled with cool Toyota stuff. Would definitely order from them again.

Brought out the old steelies with (newer) snow tires. I had these rims on my gen3 4Runner for a lot of years while living in Canada's capital and they're still providing good service.

    Work in progress

I have no judgement on folks who change all of these bulbs and improve the brightness, etc. To each his or her own. It is not my cup of tea but I do admire the creativity and ingenuity to do it. Also, if you are doing serious off road driving and camping deep into the woods, I can see how maximum visibility would be important.

But I am curious as to how legal some of this stuff is. I only ask because I don't know. There have been times when folks in large SUVs with really bright lights have made it really hard to see on the road -- especially if they are coming right at you. Blinding is a thing.

Again, no judgement ... go for it ... but I wonder if it will raise safety, legal and liability issues at some point. Maybe. Maybe not.

I guess I'm saying "Im here, look at me". Dim, yellow, dingy, depressing little baby lights irks me. Okay on your truck, not so much on mine.

I like! Amber has been proven to be much safer as a turn signal as well. Adding to my list of things to do.

Don't they know that the farthest away from everyone else is where the Taco parking spot is?
I will note that since the Taco is technically in my spouse's name, she parks farther away now when driving it.

    Added some butt lights

Went with a split set designed for Jeeps because I don't like the side gaps on the solid bars. I think people can see me now...

Are you able to move the Powertray further forward at all? It looks like you are right up against the master cylinder reservoir.
