@Mike402 do you mean like an leaf blower? I have never tried that. I just been staying away from automatic washes with any kind of brush. I think they do the most damage. I been using the Absorber synthetic chamois, it's pretty soft and durable, holds a lot of water and it's machine washable so it gets washed after every use and put back in the storage tube it comes with.

I do see how a blower would be helpful.

I do this too as well as pressure wash it after a days of offroading. harbor freight pressure washer with aftermarket green tip and a foam cannon. the less you touch the less you scratch. now that just sounds funny! lol

Yes exactly - a leaf blower. Like I said get an electric vs gas if you want your neighbors to still like you

It would need to be electric. I gave away all the gas power equipment when moved to a smaller lot and only need a reel mower and a string trimmer.
I really want an electric pressure washer this spring too. The gas one I liked but too much noise and maintenance.

I’ve been using one of these for years, works especially well when you have a good coat or wax on. I have the optional hose that extends the nozzle.

Ha ok, so I don't pressure wash it but I have an old brass nozzle that I twist down so that it's a light spray nd I just spray all of the plastic interior then take microfiber rags and wipe it all down. Fast and easy. If the seats are bad I'll wet them as well and wipe them out. The only thing I dont spray is the head unit.

I tried this on one of my early car washes because I was super OCD about scratching my new black truck. Left the gnarliest water spots ever.

Fair enough, that works. I actually imagined you hosing down the interior of your truck, haha.

Anyone have a preference / favorite for cleaning the inside of the truck? I don't mind if the outside of the truck is a little dirty -- I mean, it is a truck, after all. But I really like a clean interior. No crumbs and that sort of thing -- which my kid and my wife keep testing me on. I use a good shop vac with all of the auto attachments but would be curious what people are using to keep the doors and other interior parts clean.

Appreciate any good suggestions / recommendations ...

No offense but you were doing it wrong. I've been doing it for over 20 years on my all my cars, including a black corvette that looked like I kept it in a museum. Not sure what model you used or how you did it, but you need a high cfm model, and you can't do it in direct sunlight. After blowing off all water from paint and every little nook and cranny, you do have to go over car with borderless non scratching towels (something like this - https://www.zainostore.com/product/Z-SWBFT-4.html) and detailer spray. Didn't mean to give impression that you use leaf blower and then done.
