Cracked this one tonight for the holidays as well. Solid pour. One of my favorites.

 

I see some EH Taylor and some Blanton’s there on the lower shelf. Very nice. I’m down to a bottle of Widow Jane and some beer in the fridge. Need to go bourbon hunting again.

 

Ya I got a few of each. Actually picking up a bottle of each tomorrow to resupply and keep the stock up. Unlike most guys I drink my supply so it’s constantly changing but certain bottles I always keep 1-5 on hand haha.

I’m a buffalo trace distillery fanboy to say the least.

 

Blantons is one of my daily go to. It’s a classic.

 

^ yep Buffalo trace, to me, is the best for the money. I really like bulliet too.

 

Blanton’s is good. A close friend of mine has gotten buddy buddy to a likker man in the area and he saves him a bottle of Blanton’s when gets some in.

 

But me, I don’t spend much more than 50-60 dollars on a half gallon. Bulleit is just as good as any bourbon I’ve ever had, plus it all has the same side effects. I also don’t collect it I just drink it and when it’s gone I get more.

 

You ever find any more of that Blanton’s Gold you had earlier this year?

 

I have tried to “ collect “ bourbon. It doesn’t work.

Ya I have a few bottles of it. Between that and the straight from the barrel they are the best blantons offerings.

For all of y’all like that blantons try bowman brothers. It’s made my buffalo trace, same mash bill as blantons. Then shipped to bowmans in Virginia and tripled copper distilled.

The single barrel is aged 10 years. It’s actually better then regular blantons.

Can’t blame ya there. I go months without it when working out and hunting. Comes and go’s.

that Buffalo Trace is had to find . I've been looking for it down here by me with no luck

 

But I do have this old one tho taxed stamped in 1979 and was aged for 6 years before it was bottled and still haven't opened it yet

 

It much harder to find on the eastern side of the state for some reason. I have a rep that takes care of me. Can order it by the case. If you end up needing some I can alway bring some into the in laws at myrtle beach and we can meet up.

 

Haven’t liked Buffalo Trace the couple times I had it. I try things and default back to ECSB.
