Dang man Im not even that annoyed yet haha. But he doesnt post in here much yet so until then...

 

Got some nice reading material for the Holiday break.

 

Ouray is really, really, really pretty. If you like natural hot springs there is a city pool and 3 more private owned (open to public) ones.


I've been many, many times. Never had a bad day there, really.


It was my buddy's favorite place to spend time and wheel. We spread some of his ashes in a meadow out there after he passed.

 

There is plenty of beauty to see without running black bear. You will have a good trip

 

Thanks for the heads up, hoping to really help out the front with the stock shocks still being on haha!


I will give it another go here soon with that method, I soaked it all down with on blaster and drove around so hopefully it seeps deep. Thank you again!

 

if the vice grips don't work, since you're not reusing the shocks, you should be able to sneak some channel locks between the springs and squeeze/hold the upper part of the shock and turn the nut with the open end wrench. When I replaced my original shocks, on one side I used vice grips and channel locks and in the end, the nut was rusted on and the metal on the tip was brittle enough that I twisted the entire tip right off!
