How did you strip a gear in the tranny in one of those things?

 

you sure do know a lot of those

 

Very simple. Put an engine in it that it was never designed for. I put as many metal gears and put lower pitch gears wherever possible and I detuned the crap out of the motor but it's just a time bomb no matter what.

I have the 5700 version of this engine for less speed and more torque and I'm not running Lipo batteries but to give you an idea of the power of these brushless motors

 

Wow! I never knew they would go that fast, nor did I know those got that technical with the engine/tranny/etc.

I need to quit getting interested into all of these expensive hobbies/money pit's...

I didn't want to go any faster with the tires looking like that. Yeah don't get into it, it has a tendency to eat money. If you do get into it don't modify it much.

it does indeed. i sold my t-maxx for that exact reason. i had the newer 3.3 racing motor in it. totaled out to be about a $1200 machine.

bad part is that i really want to get back into it. i'm really diggin the rock crawlers. might have to go that route

 

Damn that's a pretty penny. If you get back into it expect an expense.

well yes there's that. I don't know why he'd go to the high school to do that though.

 

My weather report is pretty much the same as Jason's. At night it's nice and cool though. I wouldn't mind it getting back down into the 40's here again though.

That's messed up.

 

It's supposed to chill down tomorrow night and the beginning of next week. It's going to be high of 40's and lows in the 20's for us I can't wait.

 

The bleachers are really big(high) at school. Theres two ways to leave the parking lot, one you go by the bleachers over like 20 speed bumps and two you go past the foot ball field the front way. I will feel weird going by the bleachers now.
