The Limited has a bunch of chrome and fancy stuff. The Sport has a scoop.

Just get an Off Road. Don't waste your time choosing between extra chrome or a hood scoop.

On that note, you know what would make a Sport scoop even the least bit worth its existence? If it had a supercharger under the hood and the scoop actually fed air to an intercooler or something.

Dont listen to these boobs, get what you like!

FYI, sport is the best trim imo!

    Edit
: to answer your question OP, the limited will have all the interior upgrades and brown leather seats. On the exterior you get a few extra chrome pieces. The sport you can get the same interior options as part of the premium package, including leather (black), as an add on cost. The sport also has its own special suspension for on road performance, the limited shares its suspension with the SR5 and SR trims. That's basically the difference, same drivetrain in all models regardless

If you need help with pulling the ladies, remember the scoop is a panty dropper. If you want a bunch of stuff that you won't use but just in case, go off road. If you want Chrome go limited.

    This.

OP, you’ll have to ignore the incessant “get an Off Road” comments. It literally doesn’t matter what trim you ask about, you’ll always get that response on TW. If you’re interested in the Off Road, feel free to take a look. If not, don’t let them convince you that you need a locker that 95% of them never use.

To answer your question, the Limited has chrome fog light bezels, mirror caps, door handles, 18 inch wheels, and a different grille. The Sport Premium will have the same interior features, but the exterior is all color matched, has a good scoop, and 17 inch wheels. The Sport will have a slightly stiffer ride. You can also get the Sport in a manual transmission, if that floats your boat. There’s also a blacked out Nightshade version of the Limited that you might want to look at.

It would have been great if this truck came with a factory supercharger and a functional hood scoop or power dome hood. As much as I like the look of the hood scoop I couldn’t get past the non functionality of it. The Supra is just a sin with fake vents everywhere. I’m guessing the next gen Tacoma will have a turbo option on a much smaller engine (like the Ranger) but I’m also guessing the hood scoop will continue to be non functional :(

Would a scoop/ram-air even be function for a non-carbureted engine?

I doubt the amount of boost a scoop can produce for an injection engine is anything meaningful, especially under practical speeds. IMO the additional drag it would generate would be higher than the boost it provides.

The Limited also has an Option for Black Leather so you are not stuck with that Baby Shit Color.

Does the sport and OR sit any higher than a SR5?

I got the 21’ sport premium with 6 speed manual transmission. Lose a foot off the box though. No biggie for me! Love the nice leather seats and manual drive!

I do mostly highway driving so I chose the Sport, off road is bouncy or more so. Limited no advice on that too expensive lol
