For off duty I wear these. Probably the most comfortable insoles I’ve ever had my feet in. Wish we could wear brown pull ons at work. I’d be wearing these. Haha

Scored a pair not long ago here locally for $140. Have wore my last pair for 15 years.

Nice. Yeah, when you walk 10-12 miles a night, you gotta be good to them feet for sure.

    Nothing yet.
They said ~six weeks for the appearance allowance check and this is week five.... So hopefully soon?
Haven't heard a damn thing from Allstate in about a month. Been meaning to call them to get an update about getting my deductible back.

People should be able to charge interest for companies sitting on money. Pay your bills late and you'll damn sure get an extra charge

Yeah, I mean as long as I get it.. :notsure:
I'm gonna call Allstate in the morning and see where we're at with the deductible.
If I don't get the other check by next week I'll give em a call.

Definitely ditching Allstate after this though. I've had to call and bug them for information on every step of this process. Don't think they've reached out to me first about anything.

That would piss me off too. You pay all this money for them to "protect" you and then nothing when the time comes you need it

Yeah, not the kind of customer service I expect when I pay hundreds of dollars a month.
The least they could do is actually be helpful/proactive in the whole process. I've never done this before, they get paid to do it.
All I know is to call the police and the insurance company when I get into an accident. They should help me figure out the rest, I shouldn't have to get info on what the hell I'm supposed to do from TW and my dad.

What's insane is that you pay for years and the one time you use it, they jack up your rates.

Pay us a bunch of money so we can fuck you over when you actually need to use our services.
(Oh, and you have to pay us or else you're breaking the law.)

I think they should refund most of your money if you don't use it every 5 yrs. That way the company could still collect interest.

That or there should be a cap on how much you pay. Once you hit the limit, you don't have to pay anymore until you use the insurance.

I feel like I'm getting the shaft on my policy... no accidents or tickets on my record, and I pay 701 every six months for full coverage and glass coverage with a 1k deductible on a '17 corolla that I own outright. Thankfully it only cost me an extra 20 bucks to add my '06 taco with the same coverage.
