    Dealers don't use the labels.

Edit: Also, the TSB does not required the dealer to replicate, only customer to report it and on the prior calibration. There is a prior post where Toyota corporate had a chat with a dealer about that. I would be more concerned with claiming they did, when they actually didn't and assuming you would be none the wiser.

I never got a label when i had mine done at the dealer.. just do it yourself. I’ve done the next 2 myself.

Roger that! I figure I have <25k on the clock and due (ish) for a tire rotation anyway, so two birds one stone type of thing, if they give me a hassle about the TSB then I'll figure it out. Need a cable and TS anyway, I need to be able to recal the airbags on a somewhat regular basis soon.

So I feel like I followed the steps pretty good. I bought the tactrix openport 2, I downloaded techstream 14.20.2019 like the instructions show. I’m getting this message which doesn’t allow me to continue or connect to the truck. Without internet it closes techstream down and gives this message. With internet connected it try’s to force me to update techsteam. I have a smart key and the truck is completely off, is this possibly my issue? I’m a complete computer tard.

That's not good. You should definitely be off WiFi if you're in range of an access point. The forced shutdown is odd. I just used it to update less than 2wks ago and will be using it again in the morning.

Try launching just the CUW with TS closed?

I’m hooked to a desktop computer and don’t have the internet connected when I plugged it into the truck. Could antivirus cause this? Not sure what to do now. I want to change some stuff using techstream and also do an update. Is there a way to see if the truck already has the most current update?

I’m going to uninstall everything, follow the instructions again to a tee and retry. Maybe is missed something or probably didn’t understand something.

For your second pic, TS sometimes doesn't pick up the config info. You just have to use the drop-downs.

For the ECU flash, just launch the CUW with TS closed.

For Customizations, I'm a bit stumped. Once fully installed and activated, a/v should not be a problem. I only have experience with Win Defender though.

Ok I read everything over. I don’t understand this part. I’ve downloaded the GTS_14.20.019_NDSI and have not launched it. I don’t know how to get to the folder c:\programfiles\toyotadiagnostics\techstream\bin\ on the second line to replace the mainmenu.exe file. I don’t understand this part it might as well be rewritten in Chinese.

I don't remember that step... Are you following these instructions?

    Edit:. Nevermind, I see it.
That screenshot is just telling you to download it... Then go to the next step.

Yea those are the instructions I followed, didn’t have an issue until I connected to the truck. I’m using an extension cable to reach the truck which is 12 feet. Not sure if that is the cause. I’m stuck at this point. I just was looking for something I might have missed and that is the only thing I didn’t understand unless it’s some kind of antivirus or something shutting it down.

That extension cable may be the issue. USB 2.0 spec is max 5m/16.4ft for passive cables. How many feet of USB cable do you have in total?

that set of instructions is for a different version of TS. You don’t need to replace any files, that was for an old version of TS.

there’s step by step screenshots in the first post (you need to click the button to expand and show them)

That is a way old post. Head back to the 1st Post of this thread. We have updated it with all the current information, downloads, and instructions.

You want to be installing TS V14. No need to do any file swapping. Just follow @Shellshock 's step by step instructions at the bottom of the post.

I have a total of 18 ft, the extension is 12 feet and the cable that comes the tactrix is 6ft. That’s is short as I can go.

Agreed, extend the power cable not the USB.
