    Hello all,

I bought my first truck in my life almost a month ago and chose a Tacoma for that. Very happy with my choice.

I have been reading some forums here and today I decided to join the TW. Hope I could be useful somehow on here.

Thanks for all your shares and support.

    Welcome on board.

A dime's worth of free advice (whichever everyone chimes in on anyways)

    1. It probably couldn't hurt to get on a first name basis with @MESO. He automatically gets your credit card. :spending:

    2. You'll find all sorts of good ideas on here. Some you can do yourself. Others, may be not. But don't be afraid to ask for advice. Lot of experience on here.

    3. There are reputable dealers and vendors on here. If you are ever in doubt, other folks can relay any advice or experience they've had with them (if at all). .

    And finally:

    4. Remember: it's your truck. Customize it how YOU want. Feedback is always good, but you're the one spending the dough. So make it count for you.

    And good luck! :mudding:

I don't believe so, but if I did it would be buried in picture or photo album. I've actually been meaning to ask a best and life long friend from the 1980's. He took many pictures and has pretty good libraries of photographs. Metallic Blue 1969 Chevy 3/4 ton with if I recall 3" lift. 4 speed and manual transmission beast! I eventually traded it for my first ever new vehicle purchase a 1993 K1500 Silverado short box regular cab.edit to add pathetic 4 wheel drum brakes, also geared low 4:56.1
