I do not have a lot of patience; My ability to keep calm and not go off the deep end when my patience is really tested has improved greatly over the years (especially in the last decade or so) as I’ve matured; However, I still tend to get incredibly angry at people when they basically call me a liar like that bureaucrat from the UHAUL collection agency...

I have a very strict set of values, and calling me a liar is a major insult in my book...

The other thing that seems to ramp up around the holidays is chain letters (technically change messages via Facebook messenger)...

I hate them. With a passion.

And even worse is that they rarely if ever come from people you see in person regularly or even people who live far away that you keep in regular contact with via messenger; It’s almost always people from your grade school days who you reconnected with on Facebook after not seeing them for a decade...

In my case, it was a guy I was friends with in 6th and 7th grade when we lived in Oak Harbor who I sent a friend request to after no seeing him for like fifteen years, and this 60-something Air Force bet who played drums in this band my best friend John used to be in; These two were the worst offenders.

The drummer was technologically challenged, and his Facebook account was set up for him by a younger band member; He promptly began to spam everyone in his relatively small friend group with the aforementioned chain letters, but stopped after being asked twice.

I had block the friend Oak Harbor from sending me messages (though I did not block him entirely and we are still friends) because he repeatedly sent me these chain messages after being asked not to!

And then there was the low-functioning autistic sister of a former friend of mine from here in Pennsylvania; She had what is commonly known as “Savant Syndrome”. She was very socially awkward, didn’t speak very well, and struggled to find a job, among other things, but she could remember even the most obscure holidays...

The aforementioned former friend (her older brother) guilted me and my best friend John into giving his sister our cell numbers. On Valentines Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we’d get texts from this girl first thing in the morning wishing a Happy Whatever-Holiday-it-was; John blocked her because it really annoyed him, and I eventually blocked her too.

Her brother was on the spectrum too, but he was high-functioning, had a job, and unlike her had a driver’s license and a car that he bought with his own money. We were cool at first, but then every time I invited him to a party he would have an excuse why he couldn’t come; He rarely ever talked to me, unless he was coming out of the woodwork to publicly insult me on Facebook when he didn’t agree with the content of my posts. I finally unfriended him, and when I ignored a message from him demanded to know why I unfriended him, he blocked me.

I was friends with the younger sister and their mother on Facebook until fairly recently, but a few months ago I posted a picture of me leaning against my truck holding my cousin’s new baby; The autistic sister just blindly said “congratulations” as if this was my kid, and I just unfriended her; I unfriended her mom because, as strange as it is, I never met her.

So yeah, I am slowly but surely “trimming the fat” on my Facebook page and am tempted to shut down my account if the environment on there doesn’t change!

Weird that no codes came up. When it struggled to start was it like the battery was low or something else?

Something else, like an electrical problem or fuel issue; It runs just fine once started...

My supervisor has a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country with like 90K miles and the CEL is almost chronically on no matter what they do.

Yeah something sounds a little off, sporadic issues like that can be a pain to locate.

I think a Toyota Sienna or a Honda Odyssey would be the perfect cure for the common Chrysler, but the guy we lease the property from owns a Dodge dealer and we get these vans every three years as part of the deal (we give most back and get new ones but we bought the 2012 outright), and the company president is very “Buy American”...

He doesn’t give me grief for driving a Toyota, but he will not buy one for himself :(

Chrysler Products do seem to have more than their fair share of check engine lights.

The Pacificas are great, but those are of a new design...

The 2007-2020 Dodge Grand Caravans and Chrysler Town & Country vans are junk in my opinion.

We have a dodge truck as a shop truck. Check engine light stays on a lot in it.

    It’s a Chrysler thing, we don’t understand :D

I’d start with a load test of the battery including checking the state-of-charge and make sure the terminals are clean, bright, and tight.

After that, I’d go full-send with it until it repeats if it does.

    Merry Christmas to you Charlie.
