Sure you can threaten him, but thats when you cross the line. He sold a product and the buyer was aware of what he he purchased. You get what you pay for. If you buy a car "as is" and the seller says runs fine then you get it and it doesn't run, the seller is responsible because he did not disclose all the info or has misled even though it is "as is".     you could always go that route and then sell them for like 400 bux...
