    Okay

That picture you posted online in that forum the ATF totally doesn't track because that's illegal.

Thanks but when you’ve wrked for agencies that won’t buy parts or the tooling to make stuff you are forced to to a lot with very little. I enjoy being creative though

Agreed but the ATF might make it illegal one day.

I’m good. Trust me. It might be illegal one day, but realize I have an FFL, NFA items etc, plus active security clearance and work in a branch of gov. I’m alllll up in the governments radar whether or not I leave a paper trail.

Even so there are still ways to remain non-compliant which is what it’s going to come down to one day. I’d bet.

    going to be fun!
I think whats going to happen is its going to be the reclassification of the pistol/rifle bullshit that will change it and the brace will be the casualty....

For now the ATF has backed off of the pistol brace.

I enjoy shooting larger calibers, not recoil sensitive despite being kicked back pretty good, but yes, the 243 is a good compromise of power and kick. 30-30 is a good caliber too, lever actions are fun to shoot too. 7mm-08 would be another I'd consider. My stepfather bought one, and the first time out that year with it he got a nice 6 (?) pointer, his first deer too!

I'm considering maybe buying a crossbow and hunting with it if I can get a waiver. I have issues with my right shoulder so drawing a bow is a bit painful and difficult.

I have coverage through USAA. I only wish I had gotten it before I got burglarized, had 3 pistols stolen along with a bunch of knives and other stuff. AR15 pistol, Glock 19, and a Ruger SR22. And a Spyderco Enduro I had bought when I was stationed in Korea, which I had just gotten back from them resharpening it for me. That knife went through hell but was the best knife I ever had. Pisseed me off more than the Italian golok that was also a victim. It was a couple of neighbors, shitbag heroin addicts that knew my schedule so they had a good 10 hours to break in and take their time, then head to MA with their loot. Cops knew who did it, but between being worthless as the stain on Monica's dress and not following leads they didn't do jack about it. I couldn't even get a straight answer if the guns were even reported to the ATF as being stolen.

Thankfully I had my AR rifle and my main Glock with me, never left home without them.

I run Geiselle, but it's good to hear about the Larues, I've always liked their mounts.

depending on what rules they want to go with, a lot of that would require new laws, not just reclassification.

Look at magnifiers for the red dot, they’re great!

Ah, good ol' cash, steadily losing 1.5% of value or more per year to inflation.

I always wonder how many conspiracy kook morons that also happen to love guns don't file their taxes, don't have a driver's license, dont have a deed on record for any property they own, don't vote, won't collect social security, never pay utility bills, etc.

I had a jackass at an LGS I was buying from once tell me not to put my social on the 4473 because then the government would have it. I looked right at him and said "The same government that issued me that SS number in the first place?"

I swear to fuck there is so much faulty thinking in the gun world. And it's a goddam shame because if you want to keep your rights, *clear thinking* is very much called for.

I think I’m going to keep this one without a magnifier as a prismatic sight it also has eye relief. Now when I decide to build a 308 it will get the 3x magnification version
