The pump motor may be set too deep. Sediment will slowly fill at the bottom. Might be able to raise the motor slightly, get it out of the sediment. Mine wouldn't clean up right after drilled.. pump was initially installed 10' off the bottom. Out of desperation, I raised it another 10', been fine ever since, 30+years. Good thing, since I can't add 10' back easily.

A little something every chance we get.
:santa::santa: Merry Christmas Eve Porchies! I'm going to try and use up a little of that lumber in the garage today, then settle in for traditional Christmas Eve munchies!:santa::santa:

:santa::santa: My last erranding stop yesterday was at our local lumber yard. They had some nice new 2x4s with gold inlay! Price of lumber went down and up faster than gas last month! :spending:

:santa::santa: One of my friends found a replacement Mask Jack Ball on EBay. I ordered it! He's going to be mounted safely in the garage somewhere! :anonymous:

Even Santa was shocked by our behavior this year! Anyone need coal?

Merry Christmas all you TW porchies! May your Christmas be happy and joyous. Say a little prayer for those in need and less fortunate than us. God Bless.

Perhaps, Santa's reaction was based partly on our behavior the day before the picture was taken. Many of us have "bucket list" items. One on ours was to drink our way around the world...at least the Epcot world. We started with a warmup Yuengling outside of Canada about noon, started in Canada and ended up in Great Britain about 9PM with a Bass Ale and fish and chips. Plus, we did a cookie walk along the way, too.

The scene in the picture looks like it could have been painted by Norman Rockwell for a Saturday Evening Post cover. Very cool.

No string beans haha. Don’t know what the sides will be for sure Ken, I saw some brussel sprouts in the fridge and we typically have potatoes so likely that :)

Happy Christmas & Merry New Year to all my fellow oldsters!
Really doesn't feel like Christmas this year, normally I'd be cooking something to bring to our family Christmas party.
Staying home and hunkering down tonight.
We're having prime rib & king crab for dinner tomorrow night with my kids. What a treat the crab will be. Bought from Costco, the ones that one leg is over $20.

Enjoy yourselves folks, but please stay safe.
    Aloha.

Brussel sprouts are better than string beans David. Enjoy and have a good dinner.

Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the crab cheech.

Reaching to you all to send some vibes towards southern Maryland and my wife's son. He's been fighting COVID-19. Had a rough time for about a week, then started feeling better -- then he fell of a cliff. We expect to hear soon that he's on a ventilator. He and his wife -- who is not allowed to go to the hospital to see him -- could use some Christmas cheer about now.

All this talk of food, so here's my plan. Mexican take out tonight from our favorite place.

Tomorrow I'm BBQing steaks, potatoes, & vegies. Peach pie for desert. Sadly this year our regular Christmas Day BBQ will only be for two.
