Yeah see I don’t know with it being a state park and land trust that any of our lbs’s get out and do work separately. I have only ever seen the “bike association” group who has to coordinate with the park so it’s stupid planning type stuff

I ran a set of Chris King hubs (71 POE), now I have a set of hoops on P321 hubs (216 POE), and a set on Hydras (690). Yeah, it's noticeable.
Going from the CK to P321 was VERY noticeable. But to be honest, the change from P321 to Hydras is less noticeable. But once I'm pedaling the P321 hubs I'm never thinking that I'm missing out on the Hydras.
Still, they're about the same price. They're all bombproof, stupid reliable, great looking, and weight about the same. In which case, why wouldn't you go with the Hydras?
**I guess the P321 do offer the option of silent hubs, which some people really like.

I'm still on Torchs with my WeAreOne hoops, but the dog knows the sound so I'll stick with them as long as they last.

    Loud hubs for life.
I prefer the tone of torch vs hydra. Has that deeper resonance compared to the higher pitch of hydra.

I’d be interested in learning more about the differences in carbon wheels. Especially the performance differences between brands.

I’m guilty of staying away from carbon due to ignorance, and not wanting to spend the extra coin. I’ve always heard the generalization that carbon is stiffer. Since I’ve never had any complaints with alloy or suffered any denting issues, I’ve just stayed in my comfort zone.

Anyone have experience with the Canyon Neuron bikes, seems to be best bang for buck on bikes. Especially in stock, with them being 2020's I'm debating on messaging them monday and seeing if they would take any off.

I've also thought about a 2021 Stumpjumper Alloy if maybe LBS would take $2000, or a EX 5 if LBS would go for about 1800-1900. Which I think is fair based on specs.
Also 2021 alloy SJ didn't go with same linkage design.

Nevermind in 2nd qnd early 3rd gens rhat the cubby pockets have a ton of drain holes, plus the ones at the front of the bed. Plus theres holes all qlong the bed rails under the caps so there will be some dust come in that way.

I’ve tried a few and landed in the Zipp moto3 rims. They’re not light, but they are super compliant and strong. And sexy af.
    Proof of a working concept.

It doesn’t hurt to ask but I would not be offended at their response. It’s definitely a sellers market.

Got the shock sucked down on my rear shock on the enduro on my first run, wouldn’t go back to full extension and had to rent a bike. (Didn’t realize there was a bleed for the negative pressure until I got home and looked into it.) Ended up renting an ebike, a Rocky Mountain. First time ever riding on one of those, it was eye opening.

My fiancé and I exchanged gifts tonight and she hooked me up with a handup flannel and a handup windbreaker. These things feel great. The flannel is unreal comfortable.

also, she knows I’m a berm peak fan girl. I make her watch seths videos with me when they come out, which she likes because of his dog. Rip drama...

Yessssss hahaha. I like it. The guy that described it was right, it’s thin, not gonna be great for rain or water but just right for wind. It is comfy enough to wear other than riding too.

I wore mine yesterday to the zoo for the light show thing. It works, but you’re right it’s not really cold weather gear.

Yep. A nice thin outer layer is about all it is.
