1st of all, can someone tell me why this won’t work on a TRD Pro?

Secondly, is there a 3” King Suspension lift that DOES work with the TRD Pro?

You'll only get 2 inches of lift.

It’s all interchangeable. It’ll work fine. All the mounts are the same on all trims.

Actually if it’s 3” on a 2005, you’ll only get 1 additional inch over a factory pro (in the front) since the 16+ is 1” higher than 05-15 and the pro is 1” higher than the other trims

EDIT: I can't read. You're right. I read 'you will get an extra inch over and above the 3"..'

Here is me, before I realized I can't read. Same thing @Shellshock said, but more words:

So we know these will give UP TO 3" on a 2005.
In 2016, Toyota put stiffer springs in, but didn't change the suspension geometry. Only the ride height was increased, by ~1".

So this kit will provide UP TO ~2“ of lift on a standard 16+

From there, the TRD Pro has an even higher ride height. This is achieved with different struts.

So this kit will only provide UP TO ~1" on a 16+ TRD Pro.

The upper most limit of ride height is the same on 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen AND TRD pro. That is limited by the suspension geometry, cv joint limits, ball joint limits, sway bar limits, uca contacting the Coilover spring, etc. The suspension arms, cv joints, and geometry is the same 2005—current

    How sure are you?

88Rotors claiming 3" lift on a TRD Pro is *Marketing*. Show me the before and after measurements and I will believe it.

Even if it were POSSIBLE - there would be basically no down travel. Suspension is supposed to go up and down. Not just up.

Accutune posts this with their king/fox sets

Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro models come from factory with a 1″ lift. Fox and King Coilover lift heights are referencing standard model Tacoma, with no lift.
